About Freight Future
Freight Future is a partnership representing all parts of the freight and logistics sector.
It is focused on addressing the future challenges that the sector faces and will
develop practical policy solutions for industry and politicians to consider.
Although there are several organisations representing individual components of the
freight and logistics industry – and campaigning on crucial day to day issues
affecting the sector – Freight Future is the first organisation that specifically
focuses on the future challenges the sector faces.
The policy priorities of Freight Future are closely aligned to the
Future of Freight plan to ensure that they are relatable and relevant.

Future of Freight Plan
Published in June 2022 following extensive collaboration
between industry and the government.
It is a long-term strategy to deliver a freight and logistics industry that is
cost-efficient, reliable, resilient, environmentally sustainable and valued by society.
It sets out a holistic, cross sector and cross government approach to drive
efforts to meet the long-term challenges for the sector.
